Baseball Recap: Salem Comes Up Short

After flying high against South Atlanta last Thursday, Salem came back down to earth. The Seminoles fell just short of the Glenvar Highlanders by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Glenvar, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salem will host Forest Park at 5:55 p.m. on Monday. The Seminoles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Glenvar, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
