Soccer Recap: Elsinore Comes Up Short

Elsinore lost against San Jacinto back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Elsinore Tigers came up short against the San Jacinto Tigers, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Elsinore can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 765th, while San Jacinto is ranked 168th).

Elsinore dropped their record down to 3-7-2 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for San Jacinto, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2-2.

Elsinore has already played their next match (against Tahquitz), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the San Jacinto challenge the Linfield Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
