Softball Recap: Elkhorn Takes a Loss

Elkhorn was the 14-11 winner over Lincoln East when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Antlers fell 10-6 to the Spartans on Saturday. The Antlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Karlie Villwok was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That double was her first of the season. Olivia Rivera was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Elkhorn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lincoln East, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Elkhorn didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-0 victory against Mercy on the 23rd. As for Lincoln East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-1 win against Lincoln North Star on the 23rd.
