Salpointe Catholic extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Allison Even. The Salpointe Catholic Lancers came out on top against the Notre Dame Prep Saints by a score of 49-39 on Saturday thanks in part to Even, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in December of 2023.

Jolee Nelson was another key player, putting up seven points. She also put up a block, which washer first of the season.

Salpointe Catholic's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.1 points per game. As for Notre Dame Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salpointe Catholic will challenge Ironwood Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ironwood Ridge has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Notre Dame Prep, they will square off against Desert Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Notre Dame Prep is facing Desert Mountain at the right time seeing as Desert Mountain is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
