Owosso hadn't done well against Linden recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Trojans skirted past the Eagles 3-2. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 4-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Jacob Moore looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Owosso saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Sydow, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Owosso is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Linden, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.
