Softball Recap: Providence Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against Rabun County

Providence Christian Academy barely beat Rabun County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Storm blew past the Wildcats 15-4 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Storm, who have now won three contests by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Providence Christian Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Rabun County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Providence Christian Academy will take on Oglethorpe County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots' pitching crew has only allowed 1.5 runs per game this season, so the Storm's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Rabun County, they will venture away from home to square off against Commerce at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
