Baseball Recap: Chamblee Comes Up Short

Chamblee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Woodward Academy War Eagles, falling 16-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 8-7 loss on Tuesday.

Chamblee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Woodward Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Chamblee will challenge rival Lakeside at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Woodward Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Decatur at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
