Volleyball Recap: Williamsburg Academy Comes Up Short

Williamsburg Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Carolina Forest Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-9.

Williamsburg Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Carolina Forest, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Williamsburg Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clarendon Hall at 4:00 p.m. on September 3. As for Carolina Forest, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wilson Hall at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
