Clinton's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Del City Eagles 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Tornadoes have posted since August 19, 2024.

With the victory, Clinton broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6. As for Del City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15-1 record this season.

Clinton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Midwest City on the 20th. Hopefully Del City paid attention to the Red Tornadoes' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Red Tornadoes at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
