Pierce won the last time they faced Winters and things went their way on Monday too. The Pierce Bears put the hurt on the Winters Warriors with a sharp 51-27 win. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season.

Pierce got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Leah Charter out in front who went 5 of 11 on her way to 13 points and eight rebounds. Charter is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Magali Jauregui, who posted 14 points and seven boards.

Winters lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Maci Dodic, who earned nine points. Skyler Neal was another key player, putting up seven points.

Pierce is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Winters, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-5.

Pierce has already played their next matchup, a 51-29 win against Willows on the 31st. As for Winters, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 45-43 victory against East Nicolaus on the 29th.
