Basketball Recap: Collinsville Gets Big Victory over Higher-Ranked Bethany

Collinsville won against Bethany on Sunday with 60 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Collinsville Cardinals enjoyed a cozy 60-41 win over the Bethany Bronchos. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Cardinals' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Bronchos are ranked 31st).

Collinsville has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Bethany, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2.

Collinsville has already played their next game, a 66-62 win against East Central on the 14th. As for Bethany, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 72-35 victory against Tuttle on the 14th.
