University Prep Value put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 42-38 victory over the Chavez Eagles. The 42-point effort marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

University Prep Value's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Chavez, they moved to 6-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University Prep Value won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Alliance Bloomfield at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both have allowed few points on average, (Alliance Bloomfield: 27.3, University Prep Value: 18.6) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Chavez, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Grant at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
