Volleyball Recap: Tulare Union Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tulare Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Hanford Bullpups. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bullpups this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 16-25, 25-9, 25-11.

Jiannah Freitas paced Tulare Union's offense, picking up 14 kills. Freitas got some help from Eliana Guerrero and her ten assists. Jaksyn Freitas controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Miranda Kunz went supernova For Hanford., getting 26 digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Kunz a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Daniela Rodriguez, who had 11 assists and six digs.

Tulare Union's loss dropped their record down to 6-23. As for Hanford, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.
