The Madison Dodgers are taking a road trip to challenge the North Bergen Bruins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Friday, Madison needed a bit of extra time to put away Middletown South. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Dodgers have posted since March 21st.

Pete McGuire tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off two hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had over his last three contests.
On the hitting side, Carter Ferris was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2025. Mac Russo also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, North Bergen was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over Midland Park. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bruins.
Ryan Garcia made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cameron Perez, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Tomas Soriano-Perez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Madison's record now sits at 14-7-1. As for North Bergen, their record is now 16-8.
