Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Paulding County

Paulding County waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Pebblebrook Falcons as they made off with a 17-4 victory. With that win, the Patriots brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Hunter Redden looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Paulding County is 5-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 6-9 otherwise.

At the plate, Liam Garrett and James Jones did most of the damage at the plate: Garrett went 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double, while Jones went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most stolen bases Garrett has posted since back in February of 2025. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Lehman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Paulding County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The victory got Paulding County back to even at 11-11. As for Pebblebrook, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13-1 record this season.
