The Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Dodge County Indians at 7:00 p.m. Dodge County took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Fitzgerald, who comes in off a win.

Fitzgerald is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against East Laurens. Fitzgerald never let East Laurens onto the board and left with a 5-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Purple Hurricane in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Dodge County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Metter by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Indians couldn't quite close it out.
