Marblehead is 8-2 against Danvers since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Magicians will look to defend their home field against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Marblehead knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Danvers likes a good challenge.

Marblehead easily dispatched Peabody Veterans Memorial last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Magicians fell just short of Masconomet Regional by a score of 45-42 on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (35), the Magicians still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, after only seven points in their last contest, Danvers made sure to put some points up on the board against Peabody Veterans Memorial on Friday. The Falcons enjoyed a cozy 32-15 win over the Tanners. That 17 point margin sets a new team best for the Falcons this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Marblehead fell to 6-1. As for Danvers, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-2.

Everything came up roses for Marblehead against Danvers in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 34-7 win. Will the Magicians repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
