Basketball Game Preview: Monache Marauders vs. Centennial Golden Hawks

Monache is on a eight-game streak of home wins, while Centennial is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Monache Marauders will host the Centennial Golden Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Monache's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 12 matches.

Monache is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Tehachapi, posting a 58-25 win. The Marauders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 32 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Centennial earned a 54-46 victory over San Luis Obispo on Tuesday.

Centennial has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points over those games. As for Monache, their win bumped their record up to 22-7.

Monache didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Centennial when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 57-51 victory.
