Recap: Woodside vs. Hillsdale

The Woodside Wildcats have not lost a match since January 19th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. Neither they nor Hillsdale could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The outcome might've been different if Justin Galvez hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Woodside's goal came courtesy of Daniel Rubio, who's now up to nine this season.

Woodside's draw makes their record 10-6-4 this season. Meanwhile, Hillsdale's record is now 9-6-2.

Woodside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hillsdale, they will head out on the road to challenge San Mateo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. San Mateo's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
