The Centura Centurions will face off against the Hershey Panthers at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Centura will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Centura's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Central City by a score of 3-0.
Not much got past Calleigh Sundberg, who gave up just two hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Central City off the board. Sundberg has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lauren Suntych, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 13 contests. Kaelyn Hudiburg also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Hershey nor Gothenburg made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Panthers lost 21-3 to the Swedes.
Ellie Hampton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and 17 unearned) runs on 13 hits and racked up eight Ks.
At the plate, Hershey saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karleigh Didier, who went 1-for-3 with one run.
Hershey has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Centura, their win bumped their record up to 19-7.
Hershey's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Centura hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .374. It's a different story for Hershey, though, as they've only averaged .233. Will they be able to contain Centura's hitters?
Centura took their victory against Hershey when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 11-0 score. Do the Centurions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
