Recap: Patterson Tigers vs. Livingston Wolves
The Patterson Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 25 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 76-33 win over Livingston on the road. Patterson's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Patterson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taylor Mason, who scored 15 points along with five steals. Mason has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Siena Musson, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds.
Several Wolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kasandra Soria, who scored six points along with six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Soria has scored all season. Adriana Cervantes Molina was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven rebounds.
The win for Patterson keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Livingston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.
Patterson is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Pitman at 7:15 p.m. on December 12th. Hopefully Pitman focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Saturday. As for Livingston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chavez at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chavez comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
