Softball Recap: Yutan-Mead Extends Winning Streak to Three

Yutan-Mead waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Centennial Broncos 14-3. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by six runs or more this season.

Yutan-Mead got a massive performance out of Beth Brennan, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Brennan a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Campbell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Yutan-Mead's win bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Centennial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-19.

Coming up, Yutan-Mead will welcome Southern/Diller-Odell at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
