Recap: Daniel Boone Blazers vs. Pottsgrove Falcons
The Daniel Boone Blazers's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They came out on top against Pottsgrove by a score of 56-43. Daniel Boone's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aleah Rockemore, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Rockemore continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Leaman, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Daniel Boone's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Pottsgrove, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Daniel Boone and Twin Valley will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Pottsgrove, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Pope John Paul II at 6:45 p.m. on January 17th.
