Kennett is 9-1 against Berlin since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Mountaineers at 3:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with ten losses in a row, Kennett turned things around against Bow on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since April 20th.

Kennett let Owen Robertson and Blake Royer run wild. Robertson got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run, while Royer got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one double. That's the most stolen bases Robertson has posted since back in April.

Berlin not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 9th (when they won 14-7). They blew past Newfound Regional 7-1. The game was the first time the Mountaineers have beaten the Bears on their field since April 14, 2023.

Kennett's win bumped their record up to 7-15. As for Berlin, their victory bumped their record up to 3-14.

Everything went Kennett's way against Berlin in their previous meeting back in April, as Kennett made off with a 13-2 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Mountaineers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
