It was a proper cat-fight when Jackson County challenged Jesuit on Thursday. The Panthers lost 8-0 to the Tigers. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Jackson County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Strickland, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Jackson County's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Jesuit, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-8.

Looking ahead, Jackson County will head out to face off against Apalachee at 5:55 p.m. on Monday. Jesuit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
