North Allegheny had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Butler Golden Tornado with a sharp 52-30 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 22 points or more this season.

North Allegheny's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Butler, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Allegheny will face off against Shaler Area at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Butler, they will head out to challenge Hempfield Area at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
