Freeport won the last time they faced East Allegheny and things went their way on Friday too. The Yellowjackets claimed a resounding 49-19 victory over the Wild Cats. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 27 points or more this season.

Among those leading the charge was Drew Ross, who rushed for 47 yards and two scores. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Ross was just one part of a punishing run game: Freeport was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 214 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Allegheny only rushed for five.

Freeport's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for East Allegheny, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Freeport will venture away from home to square off against Imani Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Saints' defense has only allowed 6.6 points per game this season, so the Yellowjackets' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for East Allegheny, they will welcome Fox Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wild Cats are facing the Foxes at the right time seeing as the Foxes are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
