Softball Recap: Northridge Grizzlies vs. Thornton Trojans

While Northridge's victory against Thornton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Grizzlies skirted past the Trojans 9-8.

Northridge let Bo Tellez and Brooke Riofrio run wild. Tellez got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four stolen bases and four runs, while Riofrio went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those two stolen bases gave Riofrio a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Naomi Propes, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
