Soccer Recap: Davenport North Extends Winning Streak to Three

Davenport North barely beat North Scott the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Lancers on Monday. Davenport North might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by three goals or more this season.

The victory (which was Davenport North's third in a row) raised their record to 11-4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those three contests. As for North Scott, they moved to 7-5-1 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Davenport North didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 victory against Calamus-Wheatland on the 5th. As for North Scott, they will face off against Pleasant Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
