Baseball Recap: Sauk Rapids-Rice Comes Up Short

Sauk Rapids-Rice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Little Falls Flyers, falling 16-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Storm of the 4-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2023.

Sauk Rapids-Rice's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Little Falls, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Sauk Rapids-Rice will take on Rocori at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Little Falls, they will head out to square off against Willmar at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
