Volleyball Recap: Dora Takes a Loss

Dora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls. The Coyotes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Owls apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2017.

Oak Grove Classical Academy was led to victory by Macey Grebe and Lexee Schroeder. Grebe had five digs and four aces, while Schroeder had four digs and two aces. Schroeder has also also been stellar as far as hitting percentage is concerned: she's posted one of at least 100% every time she's hit the court this season.

Dora's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Oak Grove Classical Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Dora didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Fort Sumner/House on the 6th. As for Oak Grove Classical Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Santa Rosa on the 6th.
