Soccer Recap: Menlo-Atherton Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Menlo-Atherton Bears didn't have quite enough to beat the Woodside Wildcats and fell 2-1.

Menlo-Atherton's loss dropped their record down to 8-6-3. As for Woodside, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4-5 record this season.

Menlo-Atherton and Woodside should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Menlo-Atherton (ranked 210th) will meet Hillsdale (ranked 436th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Woodside will square off against Sequoia at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday up 264 places (153 vs. 417).
