Football Recap: North Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The North Mustangs took a blow against the Casa Grande Cougars on Friday, falling 56-13. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eli Manzanares threw for 149 yards and two TDs.

Cameron Armstrong had an outrageously good game for Casa Grande as he rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 33 receiving yards. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Armstrong a new career-high. Ben Matecki was another key player, throwing for 246 yards and three TDs while completing 76.5% of his passes.

North's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Casa Grande, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

North has already played their next game, a 48-8 defeat against Flowing Wells on the 12th. As for Casa Grande, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 34-20 loss against Maricopa on the 11th.
