Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fruita Monument). Everything went their way against the Durango Demons on Saturday as they made off with an 18-0 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Demons recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Fruita Monument got a massive performance out of Addison Cutshall, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Cutshall a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emma Lara, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one double.

Fruita Monument always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .769. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Fruita Monument's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Durango, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Fruita Monument beat the Demons by a score of 13-1 later that day.
