Soccer Game Preview: Gardena vs. Carson

The Gardena Panthers will square off against the Carson Colts at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Gardena barely beat Rancho Dominguez the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Lobos on Wednesday. Considering Gardena have won four contests by more than three goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Carson had to endure a ten-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their defense stepped up to hand Narbonne a 2-0 shutout on Wednesday.

Carson's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3-1 and their overall record up to 2-14-1. As for Gardena, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.
