Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Milton). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the North Cobb Warriors on Thursday, sneaking past 12-11. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one run.

The win (which was Milton's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for North Cobb, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Milton will welcome Lanier at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Cobb, they are taking a road trip to face off against North Paulding at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday.
