Football Recap: West Carrollton Takes a Loss

West Carrollton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 38-0 loss at the hands of the Butler Aviators. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 537th, while the Aviators are ranked 193rd).

West Carrollton's record is now 0-8. As for Butler, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Carrollton is set to square off against their familiar foe Sidney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Butler will face off against rival Piqua at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
