Soccer Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Heritage can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mary Persons Bulldogs on Friday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Heritage couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Micah Berry, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Heritage and nudges their season record down to 8-8. As for Mary Persons, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Heritage nor Mary Persons have any future games scheduled.
