Soccer Recap: Kendrick Comes Up Short

Kendrick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Sumter County Panthers. That's two games in a row now that Kendrick have lost by exactly ten goals.

Kendrick's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sumter County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kendrick will venture away from home to take on Columbus at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sumter County, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Sumter County take on Crisp County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Their defense better be ready for this one: Crisp County has averaged an impressive 3.2 goals per game this season.
