Grand Island won the last time they faced Lincoln High and things went their way on Saturday too. The Islanders came out on top against the Links by a score of 8-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Islanders.

Cambrey Vance was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Liliana Ascencion, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Grand Island's record is now 8-17. As for Lincoln High, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.
