Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edgewood). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Fallston Cougars 50-6. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won five in a row.

Jayden Harvin had a dynamite game, rushing for 128 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries. Those 128 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Michael Robinson, who rushed for 58 yards and one TD on only eight carries.

Edgewood's run defense was locked in: Fallston could only muster three yards per carry. The Rams didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged nine.

Edgewood's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Fallston, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Edgewood will host North Harford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.88 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Fallston, they will venture away from home to square off against Bohemia Manor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
