Soccer Recap: Castro Valley Takes a Loss

Castro Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 476th, while the Dragons are ranked 68th).

Castro Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Bishop O'Dowd, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0-2.

Castro Valley will take on Piedmont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop O'Dowd, they will square off against Alameda at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
