Soccer Recap: Lovett Wins Going Away Against Mount Pisgah Christian

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lovett had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots 9-1. Hill Mauldin was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

Lovett's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Lovett will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Whitefield Academy at 5:00 p.m. Mount Pisgah Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
