Basketball Game Preview: Jordan Bulldogs vs. Locke Saints

Jordan is 3-0 against Locke since December of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Jordan Bulldogs will welcome the Locke Saints at 4:30 p.m.

Last Friday, Jordan was beaten by Harbor Teacher 81-17. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 888th, while the Monarchs are ranked 186th).

Meanwhile, the third road match was the charm for Locke, as they earned their first road win of the season. They blew past Dymally, posting a 42-12 win. The Saints have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 23 points or more this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Jordan and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Locke, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Jordan didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Locke when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 32-26 victory. Will Jordan repeat their success, or does Locke have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
