Soccer Recap: Valley Christian Takes a Loss

Valley Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 4-2 to the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish.

Kaitlyn Wagner and Audrey Pfeiffer scored both of Valley Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5-4. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, their win bumped their record up to 9-3-5.

Coming up, Valley Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Saint Francis at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Saint Francis will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Valley Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, they will head out on the road to challenge St. Ignatius College Preparatory at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
