Soccer Game Preview: Temecula Valley vs. Glendora

The Temecula Valley Golden Bears are taking a road trip to challenge the Glendora Tartans at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Temecula Valley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Temecula Valley fell victim to Huntington Beach and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oilers. While losing is never fun, Temecula Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 140th, while Huntington Beach are ranked fourth).

Meanwhile, Glendora kept a clean sheet against Ayala on Friday. They beat the Bulldogs by a goal, winning 1-0.

Having lost for the first time this season, Temecula Valley fell to 2-1-4. As for Glendora, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.
