It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but South Effingham ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They beat the Statesboro Blue Devils by a goal, winning 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on three straight.

South Effingham now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Statesboro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Coincidentally, South Effingham and Statesboro will both be playing Glynn Academy the next time they take the pitch. Statesboro will host Glynn Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while South Effingham will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on March 4th.
