Baseball Recap: Fort Thomas Takes a Loss

Fort Thomas lost to Hayden back in April of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Apaches came up short against the Lobos, falling 9-2. That's two games in a row now that the Apaches have lost by exactly seven runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Fort Thomas and nudges their season record down to 5-9-1. As for Hayden, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Fort Thomas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hayden, they will host Desert Heights Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Lobos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Coyotes have averaged an impressive 12.1 runs per game this season.
