Football Game Preview: Roseau Rams vs. Park Rapids Panthers + How To Watch

Roseau hasn't had much luck against Park Rapids recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Rams will take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Roseau has given up an average of 44 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Roseau came up short against Thief River Falls on Friday, falling 37-16.

Meanwhile, Park Rapids hadn't done well against Pelican Rapids recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Panthers managed a 28-23 victory over the Vikings. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

A big part of Park Rapids' win came down to the chemistry between Carter Hirt and his top target Kaden Gartner. Hirt threw for 245 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 passes while Gartner picked up 120 receiving yards and one TD. What's more, Hirt racked up 141.4 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.

Park Rapids' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Roseau, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Roseau couldn't quite get it done against Park Rapids in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 as they fell 21-14. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
