Wyandotte had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Jay Bulldogs with a sharp 17-8 victory. While the Bears didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Wyandotte's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Jay, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Wyandotte will square off against Pryor at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bears 3.7, the Tigers 1.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Jay, they will take on Oologah at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
